Using Flexicose
for Pets
There is Only One Formula of Flexicose!
Only the Labels are Different on "Flexicose for Pets."
Flexicose for pets is the same formula as the regular formula. There are bottles
of Flexicose available with a “pet” label in place of the regular
label. Only the label is different. At Cactus Canyon we only stock the bottles
with the regular labels. There is always some confusion as to whether or not “Flexicose
for Pets” is a different formula. It is not.

We, like many of our customers, share our bottle of Flexicose with our older
dogs. We simply open one bottle at a time and use it for both us and our dogs.
We estimate that 25% to 35% of our sales are to customers using Flexicose for
pets. Of course many of these people are also using the product themselves.
The causes, symptoms and treatments of arthritis in humans are very much the
same as those found with dog arthritis.
Beware of using Aspirin for Dogs!
There are many examples where the same drug or supplement is prescribed for
both dogs and humans. Aspirin is a prime example. We began giving aspirin (on
our vet’s advice) to our old dog, Storm, when he began having problems
with his arthritis. It worked very well for a few weeks, and then it almost
killed him! Read more about the dangers of aspirin
for dogs here.
Flexicose for pets works great, and we have many satisfied customers! Although
not all dogs (or people) respond to glucosamine to the same degree, those that
do respond well exhibit results which are nothing short of miraculous! We’ve
had countless emails and phone calls from customers who are overjoyed with the
results of giving their dogs Flexicose.
Flexicose is Much Easier Than
Pills or Capsules!
Besides being highly effective in treating dog
arthritis, another great benefit of using Flexicose to treat
joint problems is its ease of administration! We have 5 dogs and have to give
them pills from time to time. Since we do it all the time, it really isn’t
that hard for us to give a dog a pill. But we sure are glad we don’t have
to give our older dogs a pill (or several) of glucosamine every day. The liquid
form is much easier! And the dogs no doubt prefer it too! Also, by all accounts
the liquid form is much more easily absorbed than glucosamine found in pills
and capsules.
We simply pour the required dose over the dogs’ food each day. Dogs simply
don’t mind it or even act like it is there. Cats may need some coaxing
when anything is different about their food. We have only had one customer tell
us their dog did not want to eat his food with Flexicose on it. And I really
wonder about that report.
Flexicose is Safe!
And don’t forget the greatest benefit of all for using Flexicose
for pets! It is completely safe. There are virtually no side
effects when using it for dog arthritis. It will work great in some dogs with
arthritis, others may not respond quite as well, but at least there are no worries
of harming the dog! Aspirin for dogs and Rimadyl side effects can be very dangerous.
They can even kill dogs.
If your dog is suffering from arthritis or other joint problems, it would be
wise to give glucosamine a try before using any other treatment options which
could produce dangerous side effects. Besides aspirin, Flexicose is one of the
lowest cost treatments for dog arthritis too.
